Trying to replace the text created by psd2cssonline

I'm not a total HTML wizard (hence why I'm using PSD2CSSonline) but I created a _text layer which nests inside a frame_fixed_menu layer and when I attempt to change the final result that was created by psd2css it won't show up anything in my browser at all.

By change I mean the text after it says "<!--This is 'insidestuff_text'--!>. It had something like "This is layer 3, if you would like to change this text or html...etc etc".

If I even change a single space in that text by going to the 'source' in Kompozer (my html editor) it won't show up the link button or anything in my final html file. I tried inserting html code and also tried just simple text. Even if I simply add a single space, it screws up.

I must be doing something fundamentally wrong...help!

Thanks Shaun

Great. Thanks for the response Shaun. Now I know it's a garbage html editor. Do you have a suggestion for a good one?

Hhhm. Well I use VIM which is hardly a good suggestion, it's more like masochism. I know a lot of people use DreamWeaver, but I don't have a copy myself so I can't vouch from personal experience.

Hi dwanehollands -

So I installed Kompozer to see if it would screw up the content. And yep - you're right, Kompozer sure does screw up the content :) It seems ok for editing some things, but for your specific example it erased a TON of the code. so much for that editor.
