joomla_content behaves strangely

when I create a joomla template, the content_joomla is malfunctioning. i.e. when I put a module or component inside, they react randomly or slowly or not at all to mouse inputs. When I switch to another template all works fine, so I get the feeling it must be a bug in the css of the generated PS2CSS. I created several templates, but all have the same problem. Does anyone have the same experience, or much more preferred, a solution?

thanks,

Alex

PS, this is a repost, because nobody ever answered the first time.

Hi -

Can you post a PSD and describe which modules and components make the problem happen? Thanks.

Hi Shaun,

thanks for replying.

Maybe I'm overlooking something, but I don't see an option to attach a file in here so I'll send it to support@psd2cssonline.com
I've done that some weeks ago as well, but apparantly you missed it...

I have problems with any imageviewer components or modules, such as expose gallery, phoca gallery, flash wmt pic (components) or rokslideshow, virtue mart product scroller, or powerplay (modules)

thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex -

Ok, I'll look for that. But for the forums you could post a link. Like put the PSD on your site somwhere and just post the link to it here.

In fact is it ok if I post a link to the PSD you email to me here?

Thanks.

Hi Alex - Thanks for sending

Hi Alex -

Thanks for sending me the examples. exp.psd is literally the trivial example and perfect to explain your problem. I'm not even reposting it here because literally it's a content_joomla layer and a user1_joomla layer.

So given that, the template generated adds not 'extra' code to run. There's no expensive javascript running (in the template), no layers that cover up your content (which was my guess based on your first description). The psd2css Online template in this case is adding nothing to the Joomla CMS but a place to put the content. So I'm going to suggest in this case that the problem is in adding too many or at least one bad Joomla plugin to your page.

We can verify it this way: Do you still get the same sluggish response, missed mouse clicks, etc. when you run the same content with all the plugins you are using on one of the default Joomla themes?

Thanks.

Hi Shaun, sorry I didn't

Hi Shaun,

sorry I didn't reply to your comment earlier, but I was on a 3 weeks vacation.

To answer your question, No, when I run the same content with all my favourite components and plugins on one of the default joomla themes, all works perfectly. It all just starts malfunctioning with a psd2css generated template, no matter wether it's the simple exp.psd template or the more complex template I send you as well...That's why I also created and experimented with this exp.psd, to reduce any interference or possibilities to the max. If I, for example, run an expose thumbnail gallery component in the exp.psd generated template, it malfunctions, but when I change the template to a default joomla template, there's no problem whatsoever, so it must be a bug in the psd2css generated template..
