Linkover for new links doesn't work

After downloading the file from psd2css I took it into DW to make changes and additions and build upon what I received to make an entire site. I nearly finished the project with no problems when I realized that the menus I had set up for the main navigation (fly out menus with text links and their respective linkovers) had a couple of links that weren't needed anymore and a couple that needed to be added in. Deleting the unneccessry links and resizing the fly-out menus worked without a hitch, but adding new links is proving to be difficult. The menus work properly, they resized nicely, and the links show up and do their job, but the linkover property doesn't seem to be working anymore. I should say that I set up the extra links and linkovers as pngs in PS based on what I saw the old ones looked like. I can't figure out why the links are not changing appearance and the only thing that seems logical to me is that this is an issue connected to z-index, as those layers didn't exist in the original file. Still, I've played around with this property as well and nothing has worked to make the linkovers show up properly, but there's something that I have to be missing. So does anyone have a clue? Have you tried adding in extra information after submitting the design to psd2css?

Never mind, figured it out :)
