joomla layers problem

I'm trying to make a Joomla template using the layer naming convention...

I uploaded the template that psd2css online generated and all the layers didn't show up except for the bg...

I'm not sure how to upload my .psd file, but here's a png of what it looks like

Each part has a different layer (content_joomla, top_joomla, user1_joomla, etc)

Not sure what you mean. Have

Not sure what you mean. Have you uploaded the theme to joomla and the content isn't in the area's you've placed it? Or do you mean the coloured boxes you've created in photoshop don't show up?

If it's the later, the layer you name with the joomla convention, content_joomla for example, doesn't have any colour to it: it doesn't matter what colour you make it in photoshop, it won't show up after psd2css has converted it. If you want the coloured background boxes, simply duplicate the layer and call it something else.

Now all the layers are in

Now all the layers are in their right places...but when I go to the module manager and indicate that I want my menu to be in the user1_joomla area, it goes behind the coloured background boxes and not on top of it...

Thank you.

Hi misz_m -

Pretty difficult to tell why without the PSD, but I'm assuming your _joomla layer is behind the art layer in the PS file. Thanks.
