Upload your PSD file...

Take a quick look at the Guidelines to see how to prepare your PSD file

Please wait - we are now uploading and converting your file...

Wait! You can upload your PSD, but you aren't logged in! If you submit now, you won't get any of the cool Unlimited features. You'll just get plain XHTML and CSS DIVs. Create a new account to use all the great Unlimited features free for 2 weeks.

Your own custom class names

I've been asked and asked so I finally made it. Now your layer names will become class names for each layer that you create in your photoshop design.

This way, you can create readable classes for the DIV's generated for your design. Even the spaces are honored so you can define multiple classes for any layer/DIV. And since layer names don't need to be unique, you can give a number of your layers the same class name so that they can all be easily styled from your CSS.

The Slide

Here's a new feature that can be really cool. Build panes of content in Photoshop and use the psd2css Online _slidepane and _slidecontainer features to make a smooth javascript slide display out of them! It's a trending, sort of upper end design element in a lot of new websites and now you can get it too without having to write a line of code.

SF NewTech 2/3/10

I went to the SF NewTech Meetup in San Francisco this week. I brought my camera and took a couple pics while I was there. Afterwards I made a Photoshop design for a web page from them, and converted it to code here at psd2css Online. The conversion to code took 30 seconds. Here is the page that was generated:

PNG images on IE6 for the past couple weeks

SHOOT!! I thought it was such a slam dunk win to run all the generated PNG files through a PNG optimizer before delivering them to you! Really made a big difference in the size of those PNG images. But apparently the IE6 PNG transparency thing chokes on the optimized images! So it's back to the drawing board for the time being on optimizing the PNG files.

Fantastic psd2css Online generated sites at Studio IMG

An incredibly talented user of psd2css Online has been getting a lot of attention for some sites he's built recently and I wanted to give him a shout out for doing such incredible work. Giovanni Balletta is http://www.studioimg.com/. Recently his own site has been written up at http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/60-beautiful-hand-drawn-web-design/ as one of the 50 most beautiful and creative 'hand drawn' web designs out there. His designs are interesting and unique yet professional and functional. I wish I had better words to describe.
