Improvements All Around

Made a number of great improvements today. Drupal Themes are more correct and your pages load faster now too. As a psd2css Online user, usually you won't have to know anything about this stuff - you can just enjoy the improved performance - but in case you're interested, here are the details:

First, we serve your jquery.js file now right from google. This is something google suggests and unless your ISP is faster than the google servers, it sounds like a pretty good idea (http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlibs/documentation/index.html#jquery).

The Mystery of The Final Crop

One of the guidelines for preparing your Photoshop or Gimp PSD web site design for conversion here at psd2css Online is called The Final Crop. When is a Layer 'inside' another Layer?

When you use psd2css Online to generate web pages from your PSD files, the idea of what layer is inside what other layer is important. It's based on the size, location and depth of the layers on the screen (not the folder in Photoshop). It's pretty straight forward usually and even intuitive, but sometimes it can be a little confusing. This is a quick discussion of how psd2css Online interprets the layers in a PSD file - specifically when is a layer 'inside' another layer and what that means to you.
